The South Abington Recreation Park Splash Pad, located at 642 Northern Boulevard in Chinchilla, Pennsylvania, is a popular warm-weather destination for local families. Funded in part by a Pennsylvania DCNR grant, the splash pad was upgraded with a brand-new installation and shade canopy, with the project anticipated to be completed by fall 2024. The pad features fountains on a colorful surface and is open from Memorial Day weekend through September, dawn to dusk. The park also sits alongside Leggetts Creek and offers plenty more to explore beyond the water.
