Family playing together at a splash pad

About FindSplashPads.com

Hi there — I'm Luke Livingston, a dad of two from the Portland, Maine area, and the guy behind FindSplashPads.com.

This site started on a hot summer afternoon at the Deering Oaks Splash Pad in Portland. My kids were having the time of their lives, and I remember thinking: why was finding this place so much harder than it should have been? I'd searched 'splash pads near me' beforehand and come up mostly empty — scattered info, outdated hours, no easy way to tell what was actually open that day.

So I built the site I wished I'd had: a nationwide directory of splash pads, made by a parent, for parents. Every listing here is checked against real visitor feedback and, wherever possible, an official parks department source — not just copied from some other directory that hasn't been touched since 2019. Most listings are completely free; for the ones that charge admission, we say so clearly, right on the listing.

This is a growing project. I'm adding new parks, fixing details, and covering more ground every week, with the eventual goal of mapping every public splash pad in the country. If you spot something wrong, or know a splash pad we're missing, the links below take thirty seconds and genuinely help the next family that searches this park.

Grab your sunscreen, pack a towel, and go find your next favorite splash pad. Your kids — and your sanity — will thank you.
