Sandwich Splash Pad

About this splash pad

Sandwich Splash Pad is a free community water play area in Sandwich, Illinois, with a smart water-recycling system and touch-activated posts that run features in 15-minute increments. Two shaded canopies with picnic tables help on hot days, though some reviewers wish there were more shade overall. A drinking fountain is on site; restrooms are port-a-potties only, no changing area. No fence, and the pad sits near a street, so younger runners need close supervision. A playground and tennis court are steps away, handy for drying-off breaks. Some reviewers report recurring maintenance outages lasting weeks.
