Tucked inside the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix, Oasis Water Park is a full resort water complex that day visitors can actually access through ResortPass.com, no hotel stay required. The lineup here is serious: a lazy river, a wave pool, water slides, a hot tub, a volleyball pool, and a kids pool with a splash pad area all in one place. Trees throughout the property provide solid shade coverage, and you can reserve loaner chairs in advance so there's no scrambling for a seat once you arrive. Parking is complimentary, which is a nice bonus for a resort property. A few things worth knowing before you go: the slides require riders to be at least 48 inches tall and able to swim unassisted, and while food and drinks are available on site, reviewers consistently flag the prices as high. Outside food and drink are not permitted, so plan accordingly.
