Nicholas E. Flores Jr. Park
About this splash pad
Nicholas E. Flores Jr. Park has a genuinely unusual splash pad: large concrete animals double as both slides and riding toys, and the city describes it as the only non-swimming water feature in its entire park system. The park has been adopted by neighboring Lucille Bruner Elementary School, and its group shelter stays in steady demand for birthday parties. Beyond the water feature, there's a walking and jogging trail with exercise stations, shuffleboard and horseshoe courts, gazebos, and desert landscaping. Free to use, park hours 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
