Joe Kneip Park got a full rebuild in 2015 through the National Recreation and Park Association's Parks Build Community program, timed to NRPA's annual conference in Las Vegas that year. The 2.2-acre park in North Las Vegas, Nevada, serves a neighborhood the NRPA noted has more than 4,000 nearby children, with separate play areas for younger and older kids, lighted tennis and multi-sport courts, and shaded picnic space alongside the splash pad. Free to use, park hours 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
