City of Gaithersburg Water Park at Bohrer Park
About this splash pad
The City of Gaithersburg Water Park at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg, Maryland is a full water park (paid admission), not a simple splash pad, though it does include a separate splash area designed for babies and toddlers. Note that the kiddie splash section has been temporarily closed per recent visitors, so call ahead before making it the main draw for very young ones. The main pool features slides ranging from gentle to genuinely fast: two small slides in the shallow end, a medium green tunnel slide, and two large slides (a fast blue tunnel and a more relaxed open orange slide) landing in 3.6-foot-deep water. Lifeguards are consistently praised as attentive. Outside drinks aren't allowed; a food truck runs Fridays 12 to 2:30. No re-entry once you leave. Bring your own chairs if you can.
